George Schrade Auto Button in the Bolster Folding Guard
This is a beautiful and rare George Schrade with Button in the Bolster and folding guard. This knife is a auto made by George Schrade in 1895-1905 and the bolsters are nickel silver and iron liners. The model number is #1005. On the front of the blade is said: Press Button Knife Co., Walden, NY and on the back of the blade is blank. The knife is about 4 7/8 inches when closed and about 8 1/2 inches long when the blade is opened. When the blade is closed, it sits deep, and in the middle, no peeking. There is a lot of patina on this knife. The handles are jigged bone, and they are no cracks on both of the handles.
