The first thing I noticed is that the box is shaped like an AK-47 magazine (the name Kalashnikov comes from the Russian who designed the AK-47 assault rifle). This knife features black powder coated handle with molded finger grips. The design is thin, elegant and comfortable. The blade is a tanto design, AUS-8 steel, and black teflon coated. The hardware on this knife is all black (the screws, firing button, stop pin) includes a pocket clip. The action of this knife is first rate and comparable to that of the Boker Magnum series.
