This is a beautiful Remington Round Bullet Knife, Model R-1615. The hand honed blade is made of 440 stainless steel, tempered to a Rockwell hardness of 56-59. The liners are made of non-rusting brass. The handle is made of candy stripe celluloid. This knife was manufactured and assembled in the USA by skilled American craftsman. This knife, a slip joint, is about 5 inches long when closed and about 8 7/8 inches long when the blade is opened.
